I felt like a truck driver yesterday. After the show, I went over to UHaul and got myself one of those big trucks so that I could pick up my couches and my baby furniture. Did I get the John Deere hat? Heck yeah! The couches were no problem to pick up because they loaded them in for me. The baby furniture was not tough, but I did get to experience what some call "the people of WalMart". Yes, I bought my baby furniture from Walmart because they rock my face off. As I waited for my package to be brought up (that's what she said) I watched a couple. Why was I watching them? Because she was the loudest woman I have ever seen. and I know Kellie's best friend, Aunt Crazy.
So there I am, about 4 feet away from this woman and her husband who she kept calling Buck. He had a hunting jacket, jeans that were suited to walk through puddles due to how high he was wearing them, a nice goatee, and he was sporting that open mouth breathing that is oh so popular right now. I was trying to mind my own business cause she was definitely looking for some attention. But, I did manage to come up with three things that annoyed me about this lady:
1. She had a Louis Vuitton purse. Was it fake? I dont know, but it kinda looked like it. Apparently, nobody had mentioned how nice her purse was, so out of the blue she blurts this out, "were you looking at my purse?" She was looking right at me, so I responded with, "no, but its nice." She then went off and said this, "yeah, I know. It was $4,[url=http://www.sport.fr/sponsoring/uggpascher.html]ugg hommes[/url],000. I got it a Neimans and paid cash." I gave her the "thats really cool nod" with a slight smile.
2. She dropped her keys on the ground and must have thought that we saw what the keys read because she threw out this golden gem of a statement: "hahahaha, this is my rental car y'all, we cant find the benz and the BMW is in the shop." Cool, cause I was totally wondering about that. not.
3. Then, she sealed the deal because the things she was buying finally made their way to the cashier. She was buying all the turkeys in the store. Nobody asked her about the turkey thing so, of course, she had to make sure we knew. She kept looking at every person hoping we would ask her about the turkeys, but nobody did because I am pretty sure everyone did not care. so she took matters into her own hands and said, "Dont y'all wanna know what we are doing with these turkeys?" Did you forget that her husband was there? So did I. He just sat there quietly, mouth breathing, and chuckling at every thing that came out of her mouth. So we all, weakly, said, "sure." She continued, "well, we are going to give these to the poor people who cant shower and dont have a house." That is exactly how she said it too. At this point I wanted to ask the obvious question which would have been: how are they going to cook a frozen turkey if they dont have a house? But I refrained from asking. Nobody gave her a response, so she kept searching for assurance with, "arent we just great?" The cashier smiled at her and nodded her head. probably because she wanted it to stop.
She finally left. and thats what I am thankful for.
Good news is that I escaped the day with only a sore back, because I have no friends that wanted to drive to my house to help, a bruised shin, and a brain that hurts from listening to that lady.
Now for my Kinsey moment of the day: we bought a stud finder, which is not needed cause I am pretty easy to find. ha! No, but for reals, its a stud finder so we can hang stuff up in the living room. We just needed to put a battery in and it was ready to go. So why did Kinsey pull a screw driver out and take the entire thing apart? I dont know. All she needed to do was pull the pack plate off, and put the battery in. Thats it. The stud finder looks like a remote control, and the batteries are put in just like a remote control. So I found myself putting it back together when I returned from the garage, and found a frustrated Kinsey. Good times.
Moral of the story: you don't need to take things apart just to put the battery in it. she blamed it on the pregnancy, by the way. :)
