Kosmina and Caravella exchanged words for more than five minutes after training before Kosmina announced his intended XI to face Victory.
"We had two no. 10s (Barbiero and Caravella) last week but different types of players,'' he said.
"Marcelo has got that little bit of flair.
"Dario was outstanding in that role against Sydney (21) the week before as he has done for most of the season. It's the role that suits him the best and he's hungry to play.
"So I suppose he gives us that little bit more dynamism because of the types of players they are.
"We've got Bruce (Djite) at the point this time and it will be the fist time they'll start as a combination.
